She attended and obtained her LL.B degree from the University of Buckingham, United Kingdom. Her LL.M from the University of Dundee Scotland, about 13years ago. |

Her interest in oil pollution and the impact on community members and the environment had influenced her studying for her LL.M in petroleum oil and gas. Her LL.M thesis was on human rights of communities in oil producing areas of Nigeria. Her current doctoral thesis is a further research into land rehabilitation, post oil, gas and coal mining.
Mrs. Onagoruwa-Olaifa's interests in other areas of law includes commercial law and law
of property and trust. She enjoys sports such as karate and soccer. She enjoys traveling and reading. Mrs. Yetunde Onagoruwa-Olaifa is currently researching for her doctoral degree in the field of environmental law. She is both a litigation and environmental lawyer.
